Sunshine Coast Neuro Affirmative Psychologist
About Camila
A neuroaffirming approach, shaped by lived experience.
Hi, I’m Camila, a Registered Psychologist and the founder of Enlighten Psychology. Originally from Brazil, I now call the Sunshine Coast home, where I provide a safe, supportive space for clients navigating ADHD, Autism, anxiety, trauma, and more.
My journey into neurodivergent-affirming practice began through motherhood. When my daughter Bella was born, I started noticing patterns in myself that felt familiar, yet had never been fully understood, a constant mental buzz, a sense of overwhelm, a craving for stimulation, and the ever-present struggle with procrastination.
This curiosity led me to explore ADHD more deeply, not just academically, but personally. Between chasing a toddler and navigating daily life, I dived into podcasts, conferences, professional training, and the occasional book, learning everything I could about how ADHD and other neurodivergent traits show up in everyday life.
Today, that lived experience forms the foundation of my practice. I offer ADHD and Autism assessments for both children and adults, alongside therapy that supports clients to better understand their brains, feel more in control, and create meaningful change.
